I was lucky enough to be given a bottle of this @bakersbestgenever recently. They have a really cool brand purpose, saving unused bread and turning it into delicious spirits! I wanted to stick with this sustainability theme and also had the idea of making a super sour cocktail, so I decided to use up the citrus in my fridge for this face puckering drink. Super stoked with this one!

Here’s how to make a Sour Loaf at home.

Ingredients

  • 60 ml @bakersbestgenever (gin is a great substitute)
  • 30 ml lime juice
  • 20 ml grapefruit juice
  • 10 ml lemon juice
  • 5 ml runny honey
  • Thin slice of lime to garnish

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake over ice. Double strain into a coupe glass and float a thin slice of lime on top as a garnish.
