This cocktail has been one of my favourites for as long as I’ve been drinking alcohol. Only recently did I find out what the secret to a REAL Dark ‘n Stormy is. Intrigued?
It’s all in the rum. The name Dark ‘n Stormy is actually a registered trademark, owned by Gosling’s Rum. Super delicious, easy to make and a great beginner cocktail to impress your friends with when you’re starting out.
Ingredients
- 45 ml Gosling’s Black Seal Rum
- 120 – 150 ml of good quality ginger beer
- Lemon or lime wheel to garnish (optional)
Method
Fill a short glass with cracked ice and add the ginger beer. Float the rum by pouring it slowly over the top of the ginger beer. Garnish with a nice slice of lemon or lime. How simple is that?
