At the end of last year, the boys from @drinksfromamsterdam and I organised a cocktail jam session and photoshoot with a bunch of amazing Amsterdam bartenders at the beautiful @visqueamsterdam. I made three drinks in total, all original recipes. This is the first one, which uses the delicious @chivasregal XV. The smooth cognac infused flavours of this whiskey work so well in this cocktail.
Here’s how to make a Gold & Chivas at home.
Ingredients
- 60 ml Chivas Regal XV
- 22.5 ml lemon juice
- 22.5 ml runny honey
- 2 drops saline solution
- 2 dash Tabasco hot sauce
- Lemon peel to garnish
Method
Add all ingredients to a shaker and shake over ice. Strain into an ice filled rocks glass and garnish with a lemon peel.
