I have been wanting to make a tiki-style cocktail with flavoured vodka for a while now. The R18 Fruit Salad is one of my original creations, using kiwifruit and feijoa vodka as the alcoholic base with a bunch of other fresh and simple ingredients thrown in.
If you’re feeling super tropical, throw it all in a hollowed out pineapple!
- 60 ml 42 Below Kiwifruit
- 30 ml 42 Below Feijoa Vodka
- 15 ml Grand Marnier or Cointreau (optional)
- 45 ml Mango juice
- 60 ml Pineapple juice
- 30 ml Lemon Juice
- 60 ml Coconut Water
- 1 cup Crushed Ice
- Fresh mint, a lemon slice, edible flowers and cocktail umbrellas to garnish
Hollow out a pineapple if you’re up to out otherwise, you can use a large glass. Blend all ingredients together with crushed ice for five seconds. Pour into your hollowed out pineapple or glass and garnish with fresh mint and edible flowers as well as the craziest cocktail umbrellas you can find.
If your feeling lazy, this drink will still be super delicious without all the frilly garnishes.
