Not all tiki drinks have to be rum based. Some can be pretty different, like this Royal Hawaiian, a gin-based tiki from the 1920’s that became the Royal Hawaiian Hotel in Waikiki’s signature cocktail. 

Ingredients

  • 45 ml Gin
  • 22.5 ml Orgeat
  • 30 ml Pineapple Juice
  • 15 ml Lemon Juice
  • Edible flowers to garnish (optional)

Method

Shake all ingredients together with ice. Double strain into a coupe glass and garnish with edible flowers.
