One of Tiki icon Trader Vic’s signature cocktails. Legend has it that there was a limit of two Zombie cocktails per person due to how strong they are. Proceed with caution!
Here’s an easy recipe for making a Zombie cocktail at home.
Ingredients
- 1 tsp Brown Sugar
- 30 ml Lemon Juice
- 30 ml Gold Rum
- 30 ml White Rum
- 30 ml Overproof Rum (preferably Demerara/dark)
- 30 ml Pineapple Juice
- 30 ml Lime Juice
- 30 ml Passionfruit syrup (use plain passionfruit pulp if you’re feeling lazy)
- 1 dash Angostura Bitters
- Pineapple wedge to garnish
Method
Add the brown sugar and lemon juice to your shaker and stir to combine. Then add all your other ingredients and shake over ice. Strain into your glass filled with fresh ice and garnish with a wedge of pineapple.
